Phelps and Pot

The scene of Michael Phelps with a bong was a problem because once again we see that top conditioned athletes can use marijuana without debilitating side effects.  Not so with alcohol, tobacco, or firearms, say.  Phelps then apologized, according to the New York Times, in a specially made video, to "the people of China."  This was because Nissan has a new account there, it is said, but I believe otherwise.  Phelps just knew the Chinese people especially were hurting.
